The medieval village of Castet-Arrouy, on the D23, is 5km away from to the hilltop town of Lectoure and close to the armagnac town of Condom and Fleurance.
Castet Arrouy is very lucky to have its very own cafe-restaurant and village watering hole, La Plancha. Nadine and Patrice gave us an unforgettable welcome to the village when we arrived and they are waiting to do the same for you – they will introduce you to the house as our keyholders and housekeepers.
La Plancha is open for much of the year, and in particular during holidays and high seasons, but booking is always welcome.

Église Sainte-Blandine de Castet-Arrouy
The Église Sainte-Blandine de Castet-Arrouy was built in the late Gothic period, with the tower a later addition in 1546. The nave and chancel were completely redesigned in the nineteenth century
and decorated with murals in 1901 by the artist, Paul Noël Lasseran.
The town hall is situated on the main road, a little way behind Maison Valentine.
The beautiful rolling landscape of the Gers is perfect cycling and walking country.
There are markets every day of the week in nearby towns.
On Wednesday a grocers van arrives with almost everything you can think of: fresh fruit and vegetables, meats, canned goods, etc.
Please see our blog for more information on the area, things to do, recommendations for restaurants, etc.
